Desktop app

The desktop app is ComplianceOS with local file access: it scans your evidence folders, previews files straight from the drive and opens them in Windows Explorer. In a browser you can use everything else, and open files that have a cloud copy.

Evidence folders

Folders on this computer or your NAS that the desktop app scans. New PDFs, images, Word documents and spreadsheets go to the evidence inbox; files already in ComplianceOS are recognised by their contents and not added twice.

Allow cloud copies of files found in folders

With a cloud copy, a file opens anywhere, in a browser too. Without one, ComplianceOS records the file and where it is, and only the desktop app can open it. Files over 10 MB are never copied.
